I cannot scan an old pic to the pc without getting an error message. HP told me to uninstall the printer and reinstall it again. Will this work? Anyone else have a suggestion?

Every time I turn on the computer, an error comes up after the DELL logo saying a USB port or other external drive has been improperly removed and that I need to restart the personal after all ports are fixed. Nothing is in my CD drive, USB ports, or charger plug-in. Pushing Enter or Esc doesn’t help either.

I keep getting this iaamon_cht.dll error message. I am not the ideal with personal but from what I can tell, this is pretty serious. However, I do not know how to fix it. Is there a easy way for someone who just plays around on the personal or do I need to take it to a shop?

The error message states that “The requested function (whatever it might be) can’t be performed because there is no default mail program associated with it. Please set a default program for it in the control panel.” I went on to the control panel and set all of the defaults available on each of the mail programs (windows live mail and windows live mail news), yet each time I do and restart my laptop the message still appears. Why? How do I get this message to stop appearing?
