I cannot scan an old pic to the pc without getting an error message. HP told me to uninstall the printer and reinstall it again. Will this work? Anyone else have a suggestion?

I reinstalled win xp this day and as soon as it completed I got this error message : “STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows SubSystem system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0×7c9106c3 0×03a3f36c). The system has been shut down.”
It does this in an infinite loop, even when I just shut it down cold. Any suggestions?

HOW CAN I FIX AN ERROR MESSAGE FROM COMING UP AT START UP ON MY DELL INSPIRON 1525?

Every time I turn on the computer, an error comes up after the DELL logo saying a USB port or other external drive has been improperly removed and that I need to restart the personal after all ports are fixed. Nothing is in my CD drive, USB ports, or charger plug-in. Pushing Enter or Esc doesn’t help either.

The error message states that “The requested function (whatever it might be) can’t be performed because there is no default mail program associated with it. Please set a default program for it in the control panel.” I went on to the control panel and set all of the defaults available on each of the mail programs (windows live mail and windows live mail news), yet each time I do and restart my laptop the message still appears. Why? How do I get this message to stop appearing?
