WHY IS THIS ERROR MESSAGE POPPING UP WHEN I TURN OFF MY COMPUTER?

Okay. I just purchased this laptop in December of 2008 so it is practically brand new. When I turn my personal off it displays an error message but it doesn’t pop up each single time. This is the message:

The exception unknown software exception (0×0000005) occurred at location 0×75a1be16. Click on OK to terminate the program.

I do not know what program is causing this error and do not know how to find out which program it is. Any suggestions? My operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium.

hmm… make sure all your programs are closed before you reboot. If this doesn’t work, (which i’m assuming u do close them) download Avast! anti virus and do a thorough scan.

It sounds like some sort of driver problem. Unfortunately that message is very generic and doesn’t tell you which one it is. You could try updating all of your drivers and seeing if that fixes it.

Help !!! My Personal Says Disk Error hit any key to re-Start I click ctrl alt delete and it restarts but is doing the same thing over and over what should I do to fix it myself.

I JUST NOW realized that my first name is spelled wrong on my birth certificate. My driver’s license, social security, credit cards and whatnot are all spelled first name Cesar while the Birth Certificate says Cezar.
I am 18, can I fix this error myself? How do I go about doing that?
